Taiwanese Startups on the International Stage: UBIK CEO Pascal Viaud joining as Pre-Event Mentor during TTA Leads Delegation to VivaTech 2025

Updated: Oct 27

Taiwan's innovative tech power is once again stepping into the global spotlight! From June 11 to 14, the Taiwan Tech Arena (TTA), under the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), will lead a delegation of Taiwanese startups to participate for the seventh time in VivaTech 2025, one of the world's premier tech events, held in Paris, France. This year's theme, "The New Frontiers of Innovation", will focus on deeper exploration into AI applications and the sustainable economy.

Aware of the challenges that startups often face in international expansion, NSTC has adopted a collaborative “team strategy” under the TTA Taiwan Pavilion, pooling resources to help startups stand out globally. The goal: not only to showcase Taiwan's cutting-edge technologies but also to generate valuable business opportunities and international exposure.

As part of the preparations, Pascal Viaud, CEO of UBIK, participated as a pre-event mentor during a special session held on May 29. With over 20 years of experience across European and Asian markets, Pascal offered tailored guidance to the Taiwanese teams. He shared insights into French business culture, strategies for connecting with European companies, and practical tips on booth marketing and communications. His participation helped equip the delegation with sharper strategies and greater confidence ahead of VivaTech.

The collective effort represented by the TTA Pavilion is not only a strong show of Taiwan’s startup strength but also a reflection of NSTC’s growing collaboration with partners like UBIK, who play a key role in fostering EU–Asia cooperation.
