About UBIK

Founded in 2009 and incorporated in Taipei, UBIK Ltd. is a consulting firm specialized in high-tech and disruptive technologies. We focus on strategic business development through international cooperation, innovation, investment facilitation, and soft-landing services.

Our expertise spans supply chain integration, industrial alliances, and cross-border partnerships, particularly in sectors such as semiconductors, electronics (including nanoelectronics, imaging, optoelectronics, and power electronics), ICT, AIoT, biomedical, energy, aerospace, and smart mobility.

We support European clients in building industrial operations and expanding their market presence across Asia, particularly in Taiwan, China, Korea, the Philippines, and ASEAN countries. Our work includes tailored consulting and active participation in key EU and bilateral programs such as Horizon Europe, Eurostars, Innowwide, and Bpifrance–TIIP.

In 2014, UBIK expanded its scope to include travel consulting, destination management, and event organization, providing fully integrated solutions for business missions, exhibitions, and corporate events.

Since 2022, we have also offered Human Resources consulting in Taiwan, covering talent recruitment, HR administration, payroll services, and leadership development.

UBIK brings together business strategy, international collaboration, and hands-on operational support to help innovation cross borders and take root in new markets.

CEO

Pascal VIAUD

Viaud is Chief Executive Officer at UBIK Ltd. He has more than 30 years experience in high tech research institutes and companies, such as NASA, CEA-LETI, HP, ATMEL, E2V Semiconductors and YOLE Développement, including 22+ years based in Taiwan.

Pascal is Technology Committee Co-Chair at the European Chamber of Commerce Taiwan (ECCT) and Trade Advisor to French Government (CCEF) for Taiwan. He is particularly active in B2B consulting activities (technology, strategy, marketing, innovation…) and expert in EU-Asia cooperation (Taiwan, Philippines, North Asia…).

He holds a MS degree in Physics by Centrale Nantes / Paris, France.

Mei-Ling TSAI

Mei-Ling Tsai is Director of Business Development at UBIK Ltd., with over 15 years of experience in international business development.

Fluent in French, English, German, Mandarin, and Taiwanese, she has a strong background in Sales & Marketing, Account Management, Event Planning, and Employment Services. Mei-Ling has worked extensively with European and Asian partners to foster cross-border collaboration, promote high-tech industries, and support market expansion.

She plays a key role in building strategic partnerships and driving international growth initiatives for both public and private sector clients.
