As we reach the midpoint of 2026, UBIK is proud to celebrate the selection of two international collaborative R&D projects that we have supported from their early stages of development through to successful funding.
These achievements highlight the growing momentum of innovation cooperation between France and Taiwan, and reinforce UBIK's commitment to helping companies build strategic international partnerships and access public funding opportunities.
First Success: SOLNIL Selected Under the Eureka Innowwide Programme

The selection of NoMo²Links – Novel Micro-optics for Modulated µLED Optical Links, a project led by the French company SOLNIL in collaboration with its Taiwanese partner.
The project was selected for funding under the Eureka Innowwide programme, supporting the international validation of innovative technologies and market opportunities. The NoMo²Links project aims to advance next-generation micro-optics solutions for modulated µLED optical links, contributing to the development of future high-performance photonic applications.
We extend our sincere congratulations to the SOLNIL team and their partners on this important achievement.
Second Success: Aledia Project Selected Under the First France–Taiwan Bilateral R&D Call

A collaborative project initiated by Aledia, together with its Taiwanese partner, has been selected under the first France–Taiwan bilateral call for collaborative R&D projects, jointly launched by Bpifrance, Taiwan's Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT), and the Industrial Development Administration (IDA).
The project focuses on accelerating the industrialization of microLED display technologies and supporting their deployment across a wide range of emerging applications.
UBIK is proud to have contributed to the early development of this initiative, helping facilitate international collaboration and supporting the project-building process from conception to submission.
Supporting Innovation Between Europe and Asia
These two successful projects reflect UBIK's long-standing expertise in fostering innovation partnerships between Europe, Taiwan, and the broader Asian region.
Over the years, we have assisted companies, startups, SMEs, research organizations, and industrial leaders in identifying funding opportunities, finding the right international partners, building high-value consortia, designing collaborative projects, and preparing competitive proposals for international funding programmes.
Our team has extensive experience supporting applications under:
